We are looking for applicants who have interpersonal skills such as self-awareness, risk-management, care for others, and the ability to manage conflict, group dynamics, and activities. Flexibility and adaptability is important, as due to the nature of our trips and partnerships, your schedule may change without much notice. Seasonal guide positions require strong interpersonal skills and experience in leadership.
While outdoor experience is a plus, technical outdoor skills are not required for all positions. All guides will go through training at the beginning of the season to ensure they are well equipped with the skills that are necessary to facilitate first rate trips.

Training starts May 27, 2024, and the season runs until August 30, with a flexible end date.

All guiding positions include:
- Housing (optional)
- Wilderness First Responder training
- Program-specific training such as mountaineering or raft guide school.
- The opportunity to expand your rock climbing, backcountry camping, group management, and leadership skills through our initial training time and on-the-job coaching.
- Guides will receive a stipend of $2,500 plus to help cover expenses (amount depends on position and is based on previous outdoor and leadership experience) and can raise additional funds as support.
