Position Summary
The Spokane Day Trip Supervisor will oversee all Spokane-based day trips, including rock climbing, stand-up paddleboarding (SUP), and inflatable kayaking. This role ensures every trip is executed smoothly by coordinating trip logistics, managing team members, engaging with clients and volunteers, and maintaining safety and gear standards.
We’re looking for someone who is organized, energetic, and enjoys working with people from diverse backgrounds. The ideal candidate will have a passion for outdoor adventure, strong leadership skills, and the ability to juggle multiple responsibilities with a positive attitude.

Key Responsibilities:
Trip Coordination & Planning:
- Oversee all Spokane day trips, ensuring every detail is in place for successful operations.
- Team Leadership & Communication:
- Coordinate and communicate with guides, volunteers, and clients to ensure everyone understands trip details and expectations.
- Provide trip safety talks and debriefs to maintain safety standards.
Volunteer Engagement:
- Support volunteer involvement by providing guidance, communication, and encouragement.
- Ensure volunteers feel valued and prepared for their roles on trips.
Gear Maintenance:
- Maintain and organize equipment, ensuring it is ready for each trip.
- Inspecting and reporting when gear is damaged.
Safety Management:
- Uphold and communicate safety standards during trips, ensuring client and team well-being.
- Respond to challenges or emergencies with calmness and professionalism.

Qualifications
- Previous experience in outdoor adventure programming or leading outdoor trips preferred.
- Basic knowledge of climbing, kayaking, and paddle boarding techniques.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Comfortable working with people of all ages and backgrounds.
