Nestled on the west side of the Cascades between the Canadian border and Mt. Rainier National Park, the Baker-Snoqualmie National Forest is full of glacier-covered peaks, spectacular mountain meadows and old-growth forests rich in history and outdoor opportunities.
Difficulty Level: Intermediate-Advanced
No prior backpacking experience is required; however, participants should be in good shape and be prepared to hike many miles a day at high elevations with a loaded pack. For many of the routes in this area, prior backpacking experince will be beneficial.

The Baker-Snoqualmie National Forest is the wide spanning ancestral homeland of various Indigenous people groups. As we recreate on these lands, we seek to steward it well through protection, preservation, and care in an effort to honor these tribes culture and ties to the forest, rivers, and mounatians.
