Dr. Kerrigan is Director of Wilderness Medicine. He is a board-certified general surgeon and former Instructor of the U. S. military’s Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS) course. He has practiced in underserved areas around the world and has published research articles on tropical diseases and venomous snake bite. He is a recipient of the American Medical Association’s prestigious Nathan Davis Award for “outstanding contributions to promote the art and science of medicine and the betterment of the public health.”

Daniel served as a missionary in Ecuador for 10 years before coming to Peak 7 as the Wilderness Medicine Coordinator. He majored in Glacier and Mountain Climbing at Norway’s Nordfjord Folkehøgskule and has 16 years of experience climbing and guiding in the Andes mountains. He has provided rescues and pre-hospital care in both the mountains and the Amazon jungle. He served on the inter-agency Committee for the Response to Emergencies and Disasters.

Leslie Kerrigan, RN

Leslie teaches our BLS courses. She is a nurse with experience in hospital nursing (intensive care unit, operating room) as well as school nursing. She raised five sons on the mission field and now has five lovely daughters-in-law and 17 grandchildren. Leslie accompanies her husband, Kevin, on medical mission trips where she joins him caring for patients on the wards, in the clinic and in the operating room. She also teaches nursing care to the national staff.

Lynn was born and raised in Bellingham, WA and currently lives north of Spokane, WA with her husband Corey and four boys. Lynn enjoys the outdoors, running and spending her free time camping with her family throughout the inland northwest, Idaho and Montana.  Her enthusiasm helps to encourage and energize those around her and she is excited to use her gifts as part of the Peak 7 team. As a mother of four boys, her life is always an adventure!
