Basic Life Support

This course follows the American Heart Association (AHA) guidelines and students will receive an AHA BLS certification upon successful completion of the course.

  • Initiation of the Chain of Survival
  • Performing high quality CPR
  • Initiating the early use of an AED
  • Providing appropriate breaths
  • Practicing the minor differences with child and infant BLS
  • Practicing team CPR
